We are supper proud to play even a small part in an amazing record set by one of our customers.

The record was claimed during the 50th anniversary Coniston Speed Week, at Coniston Water in Cumbria, in the English Lake District by the Cox Marine team and their vessel Pegasus.

The team clinched the world record title, for “World’s fastest Diesel outboard” on Thursday (3 November 2022), achieving a staggering average speed of 62.27mph measured across a kilometre-long course.

True to Cox’s principles they successfully demonstrated that power and performance can still be achieved without damaging our environment, where internal testing carried out lakeside during the runs showed a 28 per cent fuel saving over an equivalent 300hp gasoline engine and net CO2 emissions reductions of 92 per cent.
