Market Update – January 2026

We are seeing some volatility within our supply chain in relation to some key manufacturers. Our intention is not to cause panic, but to share the information we currently have available in order to work together to mitigate any potential issues in the near future.

Memory

News from our key suppliers is that memory is going on allocation! (Micron/ISSI/Intel/ST to name a few) this also includes memory cards like Sandisk as they use the same material. Alternatives like Transcend are only holding pricing for a week. – AI forces demand!

ST Micro – STM32

STM32 die shortage – lead times expected to reach 30 weeks.

AD/Maxim

Price increase expected from Feb 2026. Average increase estimated to be around13%.

Bare Boards

Raw material costs have seen increases of up to 30% in 2025, this is expected to continue into 2026. Lack of raw material availability is driving an increase to lead times. We are regularly seeing lead times in excess of 13 weeks.

Luna new Year (Feb16-22) also forcing lead times out as factories and planning are now up to capacity.

AI continues to dominate the market with material requirements forcing lead times out still.
